Escape boards make it easy to clear bees out of honey supers when it’s time to harvest. There are several styles, but they all work the same way. They guide bees down into the lower boxes and make it hard for them to return. This one’s a screened escape board. It has a maze-like design that works like a one-way path for the bees. They can easily exit through the large opening on one side and move down into the lower boxes, but once they’re out, It’s tough for them to get back in. #beekeeper #bee
