MK Gold wasn't exactly a port of #MortalKombat4 as the Zeus hardware that MK4 was created on didn't allowed the game to be truly emulated from the arcade version until 2025. But the game is still based on MK4, with six additional characters, Kitana, Mileena, Cyrax, Kung Lao, Baraka and a secret character Sektor that were not
