When I designed my kitchen a few years ago, I wanted my marble backsplash to look flawless. To me, electrical outlets are an eyesore. The perfect way to avoid this issue is to place them under your top cabinets. They are easy to access and still very functional. I have them in several places around my kitchen. Unfortunately I still have two outlets on my backsplash that I regret keeping but there is no turning back now. If this is your case, hide them with pretty cutting boards, books or plants.
