The new fixture actually works! Hurrah! Here you can see it machining the tips of the blades with absolutely no fuss. No squealing or chatter. This part of the blade used to be the worst on the old fixture, it would chatter and rattle constantly and kill tools quickly, it's nice to see it going so smoothly!
